Cookies and local storage

The Hatch waitlist is designed not to need a cookie banner. We set no cookies of our own on this page and we do not use advertising, analytics or tracking cookies.

On this site

• No first-party cookies on the public waitlist, privacy, cookies or terms pages.
• Cloudflare Turnstile runs invisibly when you submit the waitlist form. There is no extra checkbox. A short challenge may appear if traffic looks automated. We load Turnstile only after you interact with the form. Cloudflare may set a cookie or similar storage as part of that check. If you do not want that, do not use the form, or email us instead.
• Cloudflare in front of the site may set cookies that are strictly necessary for security (for example a challenge on suspicious traffic).

Signed-in use

Signed-in use needs a session cookie so we know it is you. The camera, photo queue and installable app also use browser storage you asked for (IndexedDB for uploads waiting to send, and a service worker cache for the app shell).

How to manage storage

You can clear cookies and site data in your browser settings. That will also sign you out of any later Hatch session.
